Conditions & house rules

Our aim is a pleasant stay for all of our hotel guests, employees and visitors of our restaurant. To achieve this we believe it is important to establish clear house rules. These house rules apply to everyone who is on the property of Hotel La Rosa.

We ask you to follow the instructions from the staff of Hotel La Rosa regarding the house rules.

From what time can I check-in?
Check-in is possible from 11:00 AM till 20:00 PM. Please inform us beforehand about your estimated arrival time and we will make sure that our host will be there on time for your check-in.

We do our utmost to have your room ready as quickly as possible upon arrival however on busy days you can enter your room from 4:00 PM, we can of course provide you with tourist information during the check-in and store your luggage.

At the check-in you are obligated to show a valid identity card in case the front desk asks this. We do not make a photocopy usually, only in particular cases and only with your permission.

I am not yet 18 years old. Am I allowed to check-in by myself?
Check-in is only possible from 18 years or older. Minors always need to be accompanied by a parent / guardian with a minimum age of 25 years old.

Before which time do I need to check-out?
Check-out is between 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Are you leaving earlier? Please inform us so we can be there earlier for your checkout.

Till when can I cancel my booking without being charged?
The cancellation policy depends on your booking. We use  the  “Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca”. Click here to have a look at the UVH.

For individual bookings with a flexible (basis) rate, we deviate from the UVH.  Therefore cancellation up to 5 days before arrival is free of charge. However, when you have a booking with a non-refundable rate it is not possible to cancel the booking free of charge.

When do I need to pay?
Payment conditions are different per booking. In general the room rate + tourist tax needs to be paid one week before arrival via bank transfer. Additional charges can be paid upon arrival via maestro, credit card or cash.

Are children welcome in the hotel?
Of course, children are welcome from the age of 12 years. We are a small boutique hotel without any children facilities.

How many people are allowed in one room?
All rooms are standard for one or two persons, except the triple room, which is standard for two or three people. It is not allowed to stay in the room with more people than you have booked for.

Are pets allowed in the room?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Hotel La Rosa.

What can I do about noise disturbance?
To respect the guests that seek peace and quiet, we find it important that there is no noise disturbance. Keep in mind that, especially between 10.00 PM and 09.00 AM, we ask you to think about other guests in the hotel. These are the so-called silence hours”.

Do you experience noise disturbance from other guests? Call the hotel staff and report it immediately. We would like to solve this as soon as possible. Do not wait till the next morning, we will not be able to do anything about it.

What does Hotel La Rosa do with lost and found?
Did you find an object? Please hand this in at the front desk. The objects will be saved in a special locked found objects box for three months. When you realize you have lost something after these three months we are not to blame that we do not have it anymore. Food and beverages that are in the room after check-out will be thrown away.

Where can I go with complaints?
We think it is important that you have a pleasant stay. However when you do not experience this, we would like to hear that directly so we can solve this for you in a positive way. Do you have complaints about your room, a malfunction, an employee or other guests or things that have something to do with your stay? Please report this to the management. Thank you.

What to do in case of fire?
In case of fire stay calm.  Immediately leave the building when you hear the general fire alarm. The meeting point is in front of the hotel at the parking lot or the backyard of the garden.

Follow the instructions of the Emergency staff of Hotel La Rosa.

What if something is stolen or damaged?
As much as we would like, we cannot guarantee that your belongings will be safe in and around Hotel La Rosa. Our advice is therefore not to leave your property unattended in your car or on the grounds. You will find a safe in your hotel room for your valuables.  Hotel La Rosa is not liable for loss, damage or theft of your property. Parking of vehicles, including bicycles, is at your own risk. In the event of loss, damage or theft, we advise you to report to your insurance company and / or to report it to the police. We are happy to help you if necessary.

Am I allowed to use drugs during my stay?
It is not allowed to use (soft)drugs (including nitrous oxide) or to deal in and around the hotel. Our experience is that this causes disturbance for the other guests. We do not want this under no circumstances.

Am I allowed to smoke in my room?
No, smoking is not allowed in your room. Smoking is prohibited in the entire hotel. When you do smoke in your room, we are forced to charge you €150,- for the cleaning costs.

If the fire alarm goes off, because of the smoking in the room, we will charge you €500,- extra for the travel costs of the fire department.

What if I ignore the house rules?
Our aim is a pleasant stay for all the guests, staff and visitors of Hotel La Rosa. Take each other in account!

In case the house rules will be ignored, the management of Hotel La Rosa will give a warning to the person that is responsible. If the behavior will not change, the management will urgently request you to leave the room / hotel. In that case, there will be no refund.
